Return, Exchange & Replacement Policy
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Orders will not be refunded, exchanged, or returned if delivery fails due to the customer’s refusal or failure to pay applicable taxes, customs duties, tariffs, or related charges imposed by the destination country.
Damaged or Defective Items (DOA Policy)
Oil Perfume Shop operates a Dead on Arrival (DOA) replacement policy.
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, you must notify us within 2 (two) days of receipt by contacting sales@oilperfumeshop.com.
To be eligible for a replacement:
1. The defect must be verified by our inspection team
2. Clear photos and supporting documentation (invoice and packaging images) must be provided
3. If the parcel is visibly damaged, the courier must be notified at the time of delivery
Failure to report the issue within the stated timeframe or to provide the required documentation may result in the request being declined.
Once verified, the item will be replaced with the same product on a one-to-one basis.
Condition of Returned Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, any item submitted for replacement must:
1. Be unused
2. Not opened, applied, consumed, or tampered with
3. Show no signs of use or application
Items that have been used, opened, or altered in any way will not be eligible for exchange or refund.
Return Process & Shipping Responsibilities
1. Prior approval via email is required before returning any item
2. Returned items must be securely sealed and properly packed to prevent leakage or damage
3. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, export duties, and export taxes
4. Oil Perfume Shop will cover the outbound shipping cost for the replacement item only
All returned parcels must clearly include the customer’s full shipping address and billing details. Parcels received without this information may not be approved for processing.
Exchanges & Refunds
1. Oil Perfume Shop offers one-to-one exchanges of the same product only
2. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, except where a refund is required under applicable consumer protection laws, including the EU right of withdrawal.
3. Approved exchanges will be shipped using the same delivery method and estimated delivery timeframe as the original order
4. Any applicable VAT, duties, or government taxes on replacement shipments remain the responsibility of the customer
Wrong Address Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
Due to fast order processing, address changes or cancellations must be requested immediately after placing the order by emailing sales@oilperfumeshop.com. While we will do our best to assist, changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:
1. The order may be re-shipped to the correct address (additional charges apply), or
2. A refund option may be offered, subject to review and approval

EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

Products must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original sealed condition.
For hygiene and health protection reasons, perfume oils, roll-on oils, fragrance oils, and similar fragrance products cannot be returned once opened, unsealed, used, applied, tested, or tampered with.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
Once your withdrawal request is accepted, we will refund the amount paid for the returned goods and the standard delivery charge, where applicable, using the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back to us.
This EU right of withdrawal does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
